CLERGY

Archdeacon Sabri A. Kejbo - Fr. Kejbo was born in Telkeppe , Iraq on July 15, 1946 . He entered the Chaldean Seminary in September 1959 and was ordained a priest on June 2, 1968.

Fr. Kejbo worked at the Chaldean patriarchal diocese in Baghdad from August 15 1968 to June 1, 1970 . He served as assistant pastor at Our Lady of Rosary in Baghdad from 1970 to 1985. Afterwards, he was assigned as pastor at St. George parish, Baghdad from March 1985 to 1996.

Alongside his pastoral duties, Fr. Kejbo taught the history of philosophy at the Chaldean Seminary, Baghdad from 1981 to 1991. He was one of the church tribunal members in Baghdad from 1989 to 1996.

In the United States he served as assistant pastor at Mother of God parish in Southfield, Michigan from 1996 to 1999 and then at St. Peter parish in San Diego, California from 1999 to 2000. He is currently pastor of St. Michael parish in San Diego.

HISTORY

• Aug. 6, 1999: Purchase of property and start of operations as a mission by Fr. Sabri Kejbo, assistant to Fr. Bazzi in San Diego .
• Aug. 15, 1999: First Mass celebrated.
• Oct. 6, 2000: New church dedicated. It has a capacity (5247.5 sq. ft.) for 500 people. Fr. Sabri A. Kejbo assigned pastor.
• Aug. 20, 2001: Education building rented by a charter school.
• Aug. 3, 2002: Four modular buildings (each one with two classrooms) added to campus.

SCHEDULE OF MASSES

Saturdays: Chaldean Vespers 6:00 p.m. & English Mass 6:30 p.m.

Sundays: 8:30 a.m. Arabic Mass; 10:00 a.m. Chaldean Mass

Weekdays: Monday – Friday, Chaldean Mass 9:00 a.m.

Baptisms and Confirmations: Sundays 11:30 a.m

Confessions and Marriage by appointment

YOUTH GROUP

BOL (Breath of Life): Saturdays 7:30- 9:15 p.m.

CATECHISM SCHOOL

Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
