‘Tis the Season

As Christmas day is less than two weeks away, the spirit of Christmas was felt for a handful of joyful families. Yesterday evening, the Sisters of the Workers of the Vineyard and the St. Peter English Choir, led by the director of the choir, Sister Warda Mariam, sang Christmas carols at the Prescott Promenade in El Cajon, CA. Over fifty men, women, and children were in attendance enjoying the sounds to songs like ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing,’ ‘O Come O Come Emmanuel,’ ‘O Come All Ye Faithful,’ and many others, only to ask for an encore by the end of the evening. Last night represented their second annual Christmas caroling event from the sisters and the choir, and from the response of the audience, many more years of caroling should follow.
