On Saturday December 13, 2014, to end off the 2014 St. Michael catechism year before Christmas break, a beautiful Christmas Pageant was held at St. Michaels Church. There, different classes performed Christmas songs, hymns and plays as their parents joyfully watched. Bishop Sarhad Yawsip Jammo, along with other clergymen, applauded the great performances given.
Food and coffee were provided for the parents, as they mingled amongst each other. After all the plays and hymns were song, a surprise guest appeared to speak with all the kids. Saint Nicholas came and spoke about the meaning of Christmas. Afterwards, all the kids left catechism with their parent with a goodie gift bag which contained an icon of Mar Addai, a pen, and a rosary.
