Bright and early on Saturday morning, the children of St. Michael’s Catechism School and First Communion gathered at the parish for the annual summer kickoff carnival. The carnival included jumpers, games and a full menu of delicious food including nachos, hot dogs, snow cones and cotton candy. The event began at 10am and lasted until 1pm.
Catechism School and First Communion classes will begin again in September. Today’s event could not have been a success without all the dedicated volunteers who came early and stayed late to help set up and clean up the church.
