On Sunday March 24, 2013, St. Mary Church in Campbell celebrated our Lord’s triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem. After proceeding into the church holding olive branches and singing in praise of The Lord, both kids and adult choirs filled the church with “Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest”. The church was filled with parishioners who enjoyed the joyful spirit of Palm Sunday. In his Homily Fr. Michael Barota invited all to open their hearts and prepare a room for our Lord to enter in and purify just as He did to His Father’s House in Jerusalem.
Inside the church hall, the “Sisters of Mary” ladies group had prepared delicious lunch for all to enjoy after Mass, along with traditional homemade and fresh baked goods to take home and enjoy with family for Easter. Young children were excited to see Easter Bunny and had a fun filled day along with their family.
