MOMS Group Retreat 2008
“The Good Wife”
On Monday, June 9, the St. Peter’s Moms Group came to the Workers of the Vineyard Convent for a day of prayer and reflection. The theme of the retreat came from Proverbs 31, “The Good Wife”. The retreat consisted of talks, small group time, Mass, and Adoration. Through prayer, conversation and reflection, the retreatants came to a better understanding of what it means to be a good wife by God’s standards.
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
