My
Inspiration
Do you ever
have moments where you think things can’t get any worse? Have
you ever stopped to think about the life you have and how lucky
you are to have it and be thankful for it? I admit I never used
to before, now I do and also I admit that I’ve always been a
faithful, believable person, but after having a baby I became
more of a faithful person. My six-month old baby girl, Angel, is
my inspiration. She made me the stronger person that I am today.
Doctors gave me no hope and told me she wouldn’t make it. She
does have a heart defect, but it could be fixed thankfully. We
have been through a lot with hospitals, doctors, surgeries but I
never thought I could ever handle anything like this, or
anything like this could actually happen to me. It’s very true
when they say God does not give you anything you can’t handle.
No matter how much faith and belief there was before, it’s much
more now after my scary experience. Life is short and fragile
and many people don’t realize that. We may complain here and
there, but at the end if you think about it, we do have it good.
Angel keeps me going and going without doubts. Watching my
daughter go through what she goes through and went through, and
still has to go through with another surgery is very hard and
tough at times and there are days I ask how I can do this and
how am I going to have strength and patience for my child? Then
I realize God is giving me strength and courage and I’m very
thankful for it.
We just pray and we know everyone is praying for us as well, but
at the end it is what God wants. Angel may be too young to
understand all that is going on, but I know in her little baby
heart, she knows her dad and I love her very much and will do
what it takes and never give up on her. Thank you very much
Angel for inspiring me to stay strong, keep fighting and never
ever to give up in life.
Just remember: always be happy and thankful for what you have
because there are others out there who have it worse and are
trying to fight for their lives like the people in Iraq.
Live life to the fullest!!!
